i found the staff quite friendly. The owner kindly packed me snacks when i had to leave before breakfast. The pub cat was quite friendly too! The location is in a lovely little village, and the atmosphere feels very relaxed.

i appreciated the friendly staff. they were knowledgeable about the area and recommended things to do. the breakfast included a good choice of menu items. i found the haggis to be excellent.
the mattress and pillows were a bit uncomfortable. it was still fine for the price i paid though.

The room contained character furniture. I was happy the small fridge box held fresh milk in a bottle. The bed was comfortable and warm enough (which I always appreciate). The staff was very helpful and kind.
The cat roams freely. I didn't realize this until after I arrived. I wish I read the previous reviews about the cat.

The staff was helpful. The pub food tasted good. I ordered the food from their menu and enjoyed it. The breakfast arranged at Tee Cafe nearby was excellent. I ate there and was very satisfied.
My bathroom was not next to my room. I had to walk across a landing. Some stairs were involved and it was not ideal.
